MARKETS works with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) to provide policy-related support to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources (FMAWR). Through the Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (SAKSS), MARKETS and IFPRI help address the research, analysis and capacity needs of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture to boost the agricultural sector and expand the market supply of essential staple food crops, thereby generating revenue for exports and improving food security.
